Is Level 3 Specialised Support Coordination (SSC) different from Level 1 Support Coordination (SC)?
Yes, Level 3 Specialised Support Coordination offers a much higher level of support than Level 1 Support Coordination.
Are there different levels of support coordination?
Yes, there are three levels of support coordination that we offer:
- Level 1 Support Coordination: The most basic level of support, designed to help people understand their NDIS plan and build their capacity to manage their own supports.
- Level 2 Support Coordination: Helping people understand their plan and coordinate supports while slowly strengthening their ability to manage them on their own.
- Level 3 Support Coordination or Specialised Support Coordination: The highest level of support for people facing significant barriers to access.
What is the difference between plan management and Specialised Support Coordination?
Plan management handles the financial aspects of NDIS plan implementation, including paying providers, tracking budgets, and ensuring compliance with the NDIS. Specialised Support Coordination, on the other hand, focuses on managing the complex supports within an NDIS plan and ensuring participants' needs are and continue to be met.
